Doctor Strange arrives in the recently destroyed city of Las Vegas to discover that Sin City has a new casino: Hotel Inferno, owned and operated by his nemesis Mephisto.

After taking the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme from Doctor Strange, Doctor Voodoo is attacked by Doctor Doom who wants the Eye of Agamotto.

The amnesiac Shadow Dweller, Brian, regains his memory and seeks revenge on Doctor Zero for killing his family. Zero defeats him and drains his life energy.
