Framed for a murder he did not commit, Vector finds out that the case is really about finding a bird statue called "The Kestrel" and that a lot of powerful people are after it.
Despite the machinations of various powerful individuals, Pope manages to return The Kestrel (which turns out to be alive) to its proper place.
